We celebrate the 60th anniversary of Sumida
In 1948 Ichiro Yawata,the founder of Sumida, began with the manufacturing of coils in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture in Japan hiring only a couple of workers living nearby. Two years later Sumida Electric Shoukai was started in Tokyo's Sumida ward. The Sumida Corporation was founded on 16th January 1956.
